Marketing Coordinator

Description:Montrose Travel is now part of CTM (Corporate Travel Management, ASX:CTD), one of the world’s largest travel companies with over $3.5 billion in sales. The Montrose, California-based office – site of the company’s North America Leisure and Loyalty Travel headquarters -- is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its award-winning Marketing Department.

This is an Entry Level position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Unlike with most entry-level marketing positions, you would have an opportunity to get involved with several facets of our department – from contributing to our marketing campaigns and adding content to websites, to managing travel vouchers and community donations/sponsorships, to event coordination.

A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, possess excellent written and verbal skills, and exhibit a well-rounded balance of creative and basic technical skills.

Duties:•Manage placement of branding ads in local newspapers and directories
•Handle incoming requests for donations and sponsorships; assess marketing opportunities and give strategic recommendations
•Create, manage & track travel voucher redemptions
•Assist with client lists database management & upkeep
•Assist with QA testing and proofing of websites, mobile products and email deployments
•Contribute to design of marketing pieces, proofing and copywriting
•Help build website landing pages and email blasts highlighting new travel offers
•Coordinate occasional travel-related events
•Contribute to social media posting/campaigns, press releases & other media

Qualifications:•Excellent written and verbal skills
•Copywriting or press release writing experience a plus
•Strong attention to detail
•Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)
•Professional demeanor with superior inter-personal skills to build working relationships with our internal team
•Ability to support collaborative and team environment
•Demonstrated excellent project / time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
•Ability to maintain confidential information
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Photoshop skills a plus
•Basic HTML & CSS skills a plus
