Supplier Value Analyst

Description:Montrose Travel, a $300 million travel company has an exciting and critical position, responsible for driving performance and optimizing supplier partnerships and revenue in North America. The position will assist in developing strategies, plans and programs to satisfy and exceed contracted partner performance expectations, deliver exceptional value to clients, and achieve exceptional revenue targets. The role is responsible for delivering on our commitment to travel partners as a highly effective and beneficial distribution channel.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects and negotiations simultaneously; own deliverables end to end; manage people in an inspirational way and thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate must have superior communication, analytic, presentation and people leadership skills. The candidate must also be able to work with multiple stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Duties:•Assist in the development and implementation of strategies that evolve and expand our supplier model, driving dependable, premium compensation for the unique value our Travel Network delivers to supplier partners
•Serve as day-to-day preferred supplier partner operational contact to optimize network access and coordination.
•Develop and execute initiatives that improve the customer value proposition and strengthen profit margins.
•Own the financial achievement of supplier revenue goals and targets
•Educate and sell preferred suppliers to both internal/external customer audiences through the creation of systematic/regular communication and marketing plans, incentives and updates on supplier offers, in collaboration with Marketing, Supplier Procurement and Finance.
•Monitor and track supplier performance with ability to identify trends or issues and develop plans and strategies that enable us to optimize results and demonstrate its key value as a travel supplier channel.
•Work effectively to engage supplier partners with Client Management, Operations, Sales and other internal teams to develop and help preferred suppliers capture new business opportunities
•Provide MI/BI support for revenue forecasting, supplier negotiations and ad-hoc analyses
•Build and enhance other internal partnerships to ensure that Supplier Relations and the business achieves stated goals and objectives

Desired Skills:
•Bachelors degree in business administration or communications preferred
•5+ years’ experience in Supplier Relations, TMC and/or the Travel Industry
•Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other analytic tools.
•Excellent communications, marketing and presentation experience preferred
•Financial analysis experience and ability to identify trends preferred
